Vitalii Yarema: The authorities hope for the peaceful settlement of the crisis in the East and South of Ukraine

The First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Vitalii Yarema declared that the Government would spare no effort to ensure the conflict in the southern east of the country solved in a peaceful way. The top official said that during a meeting with participation of the Prime Minister of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk.

Vitalii Yarema emphasized the occupation of a certain part of Ukraine, the Crimean Autonomy, had taken place already and the Russian Federation hadn’t stopped there.

The First Vice Premier emphasized separatist rallies prolonged and the groups of saboteurs in the south and east of Ukraine wished to provoke armed scenario of solving the conflict. “In Donetsk, Luhansk and Kharkiv the separatists are ceasing administration buildings, accumulating armor and hope that law enforcement officers would apply force,” he explained. “Their goal is to show to the whole world that murders and violence are taking place in Ukraine,” Vitalii Yarema said.

Thus, according to the top official, active negotiations are being held “with these terrorists, separatists, as we call them” and the authorities intend to settle this problem in a peaceful manner.
