Law on Languages of Kolesnichenko-Kivalov authorship that represents the Russian-speaking population will not be canceled. This was stressed by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk on Friday, April 11, in Donetsk during a meeting with heads of Regional State Administrations, heads of cities, heads of defense and law enforcement agencies and industry representatives of eastern regions on Friday, April 11.

"Whichever my personal attitude or anyone else is to this law, but it is currently in force, and the law will not be abolished," he said.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that the policy of the Government of Ukraine on the language issue remains unchanged: "No one to anyone under no circumstances will limit the use of language that people used to communicate, including Russian."
