Government improves some rules of tax system

On April 7, after the Government’s session, Minister of Finance of Ukraine Oleksandr Shlapak informed representatives of the media on taken government decisions.

So, the Government has improved some rules of the tax system, in particular adjustments were made on the payment of certain taxes and changes as well as amendments to laws governing the energy sector and others.

Talking about the proposed changes to the tax system, Finance Minister said that the Government has settled some questions about tax exemptions, taxation of medical products, customs and tax payments, and made technical changes.

In addition, the Government decided to introduce a monthly publication of information about the list of entrepreneurs who have received refunds of VAT on the Treasury website.

"Business has long required transparency and, in this sense, the publication of such information will consolidate the good relations of power and business," - said the Minister.
