Prime Minister of Ukraine Arsenii Yatseniuk meets with Stefan Fule in Brussels

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arsenii Yatseniuk met with Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle in Brussels Thursday, March 20.

The sides have discussed the situation in Ukraine, ways of supporting the efforts of the Government of Ukraine to implement the reforms needed to move closer to European standards.

During the meeting it comes about combating corruption, financial and economic stabilization in Ukraine, strengthening trade and economic relations by opening the EU market to Ukrainian goods.

Štefan Füle welcomed recent decisions of Ukraine related to the fulfillment by Ukraine of the Action Plan’s criteria on visa free regime with the EU.

It was also discussed preparations for the Ukrainian side of the trade of the Association Agreement with the European Union.
