During the working
trip to Poland, Vice Prime
Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Housing and Communal Services of
Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman
has met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Radoslaw Sikorski.
Volodymyr Hroisman expressed appreciation for the steps that had been
used by the Polish side in support of Ukraine
during the confrontation on Maidan and current active
participation of Poland in
the settlement of the situation caused by an act of Russian annexation of Crimea.
Radoslaw Sikorski emphasized that the official Warsaw
condemns the Russian aggression against a sovereign Ukraine
and confirmed full support of Poland
of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, stressing the willingness
for further providing maximum assistance to our country in its efforts to
counter the occupation.
The parties discussed
the current political situation in Ukraine. Vice Prime Minister -
Minister of Regional Development, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine
outlined the priorities of the Ukrainian government, focusing on their
convergence criteria to the Association Agreement. Volodymyr
Hroisman also expressed hope that the scheduled at
end of the week signing of the political part will contribute to the
stabilization of the political situation in Ukraine and confirm the support of
the Western world to the European choice of the Ukrainian people.
Interlocutors have
agreed on the expediency of early implementation of local authorities’ reforms
in Ukraine.
