Talks between Ukraine and the
International Bank for Reconstruction and Development on attraction of loans to
upgrade the heating industry will soon be renewed. This was started by Vice
Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal
Services Volodymyr Hroisman.
According to him said
the Government has approved a draft decree of the President of Ukraine on the
creation of the delegation of Ukraine
to participate in the negotiations with the International Bank for
Reconstruction and Development.
The Government also
approved a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to attract
loans from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development to implement
the project "Energy efficiency improvement in the district heating sector
of Ukraine"
under the Loan Agreement and the Agreement on the loan from the Clean
Technology Fund amounting to 382 million dollars.
Recall, the talks
between Ukraine
and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development on borrowing had
to take place before, but this was prevented by the unstable situation in the
country.
