"We're staying, and have staid on the principles of peaceful settlement of the crisis caused by unhealthy imperial ambitions of the Russian Federation. The Crimea is a territory of the Ukrainian state. Ukrainian citizens live in this region," the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arsenii Yatseniuk said on Tuesday, 18 March at a press conference following the conference call with the commanders of military units stationed in Crimea.

At the same time, according to him we could give only one definition to today's events in Moscow - a robbery of international scale when undercover of troops and weapons one country, thinking, that for this crime responsibility never comes, just come and temporarily stole the territory of independent state," Arsenii Yatseniuk said.

The Prime Minister mentioned that a speedy resolution of this issue will be difficult to find, "But Russia is isolated by the whole international community. The violation of international law will result in political, economic and diplomatic responsibility."

He recalled that foreign partners have introduced the first phase of sanctions against Russia.

Arsenii Yatseniuk stressed the need for a political dialogue on the restoration of the rights of the Ukrainian state and stop violations of international law by the Russian Federation.
