Andriy Deshchytsia had a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of Australia Julia Bishop

Deshchytsia held telephone talk with Foreign Minister
of Australia Julia Bishop.
A. Deshchytsia thanked Australia for its
position to support the resolution on the so-called “referendum” in the Crimea
during the vote in the UN Security Council held on March 15, 2014.
Head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said the country's leadership
praised the position of the Australian government to preserve the sovereignty
and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
In her turn, D.Bishop confirmed the further
support to fundamental principles of international law, assuring in Australian
willingness to remain an active participant of the international process of
finding solution to "the Crimea issue” within the UN and the OSCE framework. Australian side also underline that they
are considering the possibility to respond to the action of Russia on Ukraine
at bilateral level.
