Moreover,
he informed he would deliver speech at the UN Security Council meeting on
Thursday. Arsenii
Yatseniuk appealed the Council of Europe, OSCE and UNO to immediately send
monitoring missions to Crimea. He added
at this “the Russian soldiery is blocking travel of international observers
along the Crimean territory, which has been and will remain an integral part
of the Ukrainian state”. “We
adhere to the principle of peaceful, political and diplomatic settlement of
the crisis, however this principle is not acknowledged by the Russian
leaders,” the Premier stressed. He
emphasizes there is a chance to peacefully settle this “conflict of the ХХІ century”: “This is not a two-way
conflict, it is an attempt of Russia to undermine global security grounds and
redraw the European map, including to reconsider the results of the Second
World War. This is where Russia goes.” “We will
preserve territorial integrity and independence of Ukrainian state by all
means – being the arsenal of Ukraine and the world,” Arsenii Yatseniuk summed
up. |
