A. Yatseniuk: We are ready to resume relations with RF, but we never be subordinate to Russia

At the Extraordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of the European Union with the participation of Ukraine it was stated clearly that the EU stands for the territorial integrity, inviolability and independence of the Ukrainian state. This was started by Prime Minster of Ukraine Arsenii Yatseniuk during a press point Friday, March 7.

Arsenii Yatseniuk noted that the military escalation, military aggression in the Crimea and decisions passed by so-called government of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea were discussed during the summit.

"The resolution of the EU Council clearly state that the so-called authorities of ARC accepted illegal and unconstitutional decision concerning a referendum," he said.

"I want to warn separatists and other traitors of the Ukrainian state who are trying to act against Ukraine: every your decision, which will be taken, is obviously illegal and unconstitutional, and no one in the civilized world does not recognize the decision of the so-called referendum of the so-called Crimean government," Mr. Yatseniuk stressed.

The Prime Minister noted that Government of Ukraine has clearly declared its willingness to negotiate with the Government of Russia: "But for this our Russian neighbors who still have to become Russian partners, they have to withdraw troops, to fulfill its bilateral and multilateral obligations, stop supporting separatists and terrorists in the territory of the Crimea, and declare to the whole world, that Ukraine and Russia has began to build a new type of relationship."

"The Government of Ukraine clearly declares: we are ready to rebuild our relations with Russia. At the same time, we will never be subordinate or branch of Russian Federation in the territory of Ukraine. The Russian government must understand this," Arsenii Yatseniuk said.

The Prime Minister also said that he made the request for the second telephone conversation with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
