Prime Minister of Latvia expresses support for Ukraine and its European aspirations in letter to Arsenii Yatseniuk

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs Friday, February 28. During the meeting, Edgars Rinkēvičs handed Arsenii Yatseniuk a letter from the Prime Minister of Latvia Laimdota Straujuma.

The Prime Minister of Latvia expressed hope in the letter that in the difficult time for Ukraine, the Government will make significant steps towards building a strong, prosperous, united and democratic state.

Laimdota Straujuma noted that Latvia will continue to support Ukraine and its aspiration to closer integration with the European Union.

Latvian Prime Minister expressed confidence that the mutually beneficial cooperation between Ukraine and Latvia will continue to grow stronger.
