XXIV National Commission for Foreign Ukrainians held in MFA

On February
27, 2014 a meeting of the XXIV National Commission for Foreign Ukrainians was
held in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
By the result of taken
decisions at the meeting the status of a foreign Ukrainian was granted to 571 persons
from 28 countries. Among those who received the status, the most numerous group
are residents of
Overall 8116 people
from 72 countries received the status of a foreign Ukrainian since the adoption
of the Law of Ukraine on Foreign Ukrainian in 2004.
