Ukraine and South Korea consider possibility to prepare interstate e-government cooperation program

The representatives of the State Agency for Science, Innovation and Informatization and the National E-government center met with commercial attaché of the Embassy of Korea in Ukraine Kim Quang Khi.

The parties considered further prospects of Ukrainian-Korean cooperation in e-government. The Republic of Korea is the world leader in this area. The country holds the first place among 190 countries in the Annual world e-government review for three years.

The participants exchanged with views concerning further cooperation in e-government area. In particular, they discussed propositions on creating a working group dealing with preparation of the interstate program of e-government cooperation, organization of educational events with involvement of KOICA (Korean International Cooperation Agency) experts and a special seminar for the business structures of Ukraine in order to get familiarized with the advanced technologies in the sphere.
