V. Semynozhenko: It is expedient to gather top brains of the country
The head of
the National Agency for Science, Innovations and Informatization, academician
of the National Academy of Sciences Volodymyr Semynozhenko views crucial to gather top brains of Ukraine targeting
to create the National Strategy of development of the country Ukraine-2020.

“To my
strong conviction it is crucial now to elaborate a thorough Strategy of the development
of Ukraine up to 2020 and suggest a roadmap for the society to renew the country.
We must attract the best specialists to this process. The nation just needs
all top brains we have. Cool heads,” V. Semynozhenko
announced. In
particular, the document must contain two principal sections, the head of the
National Agency for Science, Innovations and Informatization said. According
to him, the first section must envisage creating a new innovation policy. Presently,
the potential of resource economy has been exhausted in full, so such economy
isn’t just capable to grow any longer, he explained. At this, the
second section must suggest solving the problem of integration of Ukrainian
society, as splitting it off on territorial, ideological, confessional
grounds has reached a threatening scale. Volodymyr
Semynozhenko emphasized that it would be the second
redaction of the strategy of Ukraine’s development. “Back in 2007 a draft
National Strategy of Ukraine’s development through 2015 was elaborated with
participation of a wide circle of most respected social and political
figures, both national and international experts-economists with support of public
political association the Ukrainian forum, but unfortunately this document
wasn’t approved. I consider we are observing the phenomena through the absence
of such strategy,” the academician of NAS of Ukraine stated. |
