MFA continues to fulfill functions to ensure realization of state policy in foreign relations
On February 23, 2014, the Verhovna Rada of Ukraine approved a resolution
on dismissal of L. Kozhara from the office of Minister of Foreign Affairs of
Ukraine.

In this
connection, pursuant to Ukraine’s legislation and commissions of the acting
President of Ukraine, VR Speaker of Ukraine O. Turchynov,
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine continues fulfillment of the duties
directed to realization of the state policy in foreign relations of Ukraine,
including maintaining diplomatic relations of Ukraine with the foreign states
and ensuring presence of Ukraine at the international organizations. The MFA
and foreign diplomatic institutions of Ukraine prolong fulfillment of tasks defending
interests of Ukraine in foreign relations, protecting the rights and freedoms
of Ukraine’s citizens abroad. |
