Mykola Azarov considers that the crisis recovery of the Ukrainian economy is seriously challenged because of the tensions. He said this during a meeting with representatives of the European Parliament who represent the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats.

Mykola Azarov marked the negative impact on the economy of the political instability: boom in the foreign exchange market and the outflow of deposits from banks, the inability to fully realize the program of activation of the economy, disruptions in the production programs of enterprises and certain sectors, complications in the implementation of agreements on trade cooperation and industrial cooperation with Russia.

"Those who continue to escalate the conflict or play the fate of millions of people jeopardy welfare of Ukrainian families," Mykola Azarov said.

He also said that now the representatives of the European Commission recognize the serious economic difficulties in Ukraine. The question of providing the necessary assistance, the involvement of the International Monetary Fund has been raised.

"The question arises: why they have not seen, not listened to our proposals for the association before?" Mykola Azarov set the question.
