S. Arbuzov commissions to intensify duty of communal workers and rescue officers on snowy roads

The First Vice Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov commissions to stir up works in resuming power supplies in the inhabited areas and cleaning up of snowy urban and intercity highways. It is contained in the Government’s commission.

“To ensure timely transportation of the necessary amount of snow cleaning and other special equipment, 24-hour duty of communal services and rescuers on roads where traffic jams occurred. To create necessary number of heating points for the drivers and passengers who appeared in the snow trap,” the commission of the First Vice Premier has it in terms of activity of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Defence Ministry, MIA, Ministry of Regional Development and Building, the State Emergency Service and leaders of the regions that suffered from unfavourable weather.   

Among the points of the commission by S. Arbuzov is the demand for the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry to stir up resuming of power supplies of the inhabited areas.

According to the commission, the Finance Ministry must allocate necessary financing for organization of “the uninterrupted work of snow-cleaning equipment, heating points and communal services,” the commission of the First Vice Premier contains.

Today, during an emergency meeting at the Government the departments responsible for implementation of the commission reported about the state of matters and actions directed to fight with effects of the complex weather conditions.
