Leonid Kozhara meets with the special envoy of the UN Secretary-General

On January 29, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara has met with the special envoy of the UN Secretary-General Robert Serry

During the meeting they discussed issues related to the internal political situation in the country.

Leonid Kozhara acquainted the special envoy with the development of the political process in Ukraine and noted that the Ukrainian leadership is exerting maximum efforts in early peaceful settlement of the political crisis and reaching compromise within the framework of the ongoing negotiations.

In this regard, it was noted that state leadership maintains effective dialogue and information exchange with international organizations including the OSCE, the Council of Europe and the UN.

The Minister also expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation with the UN System organizations and assured in the readiness of Ukraine to continue constructive engagement with them.
