Grain export increased by about 5 million tons for 6 month of 2013/14 marketing year

According to the chairman of the State Agricultural Inspection of Ukraine Vladyslav Goncharenko our country for 6 months of 2013/2014 marketing year exported 22 million 132 thousand tons of grain to different countries, up to 4 million 825 thousand tons more than in the same period of last marketing year.

"Overall, for 2013 calendar year it was exported over 32 million tons of grain," Vladyslav Goncharenko said.

He noted that analyzing the dynamics of export for the past 4 marketing years, you can see significant growth. For example, 1.9 million tons were exported in December 2010, 3.2 million tons in December 2011, 2.9 million tons in 2012 and 5.4 million tons - for the same period in 2013.

In addition, 23 million 620 thousand tons of grain and leguminous plants, of which 6 million 901 thousand tons of wheat were exported since the beginning of 2013/14 marketing year (01/07/2013 - 01/13/2014).
