Serhiy Arbuzov to MPs: Country cannot live without financial plan

The Government relies on support of Parliamentarians in voting for the Law on the State Budget.

The First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov stated in the course of a sitting of the Conciliation Council of leaders of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

The First Vice Premier noted that in the current week the Government would further legislative activity in the direction of support of realization of complex social and economic reforms.

In particular, according to him, over 30 Governmental draft laws are submitted for considering by the Parliament.

“First of all – the draft Law On the State Budget for 2014. The country cannot live without the financial plan,” Serhiy Arbuzov underlined.

Moreover, the First Vice Prime Minister noted that 11 out of Governmental draft laws were directed to improvement of conditions of making business and receiving of state support by business structures, solving of issues of infrastructure exploitation and development of financial system. 2 draft laws shall facilitate solving of social issues. The norms of 4 draft bills are directed to the development of a system of law and justice in the country, improvement of the procedure of registration of property and protection of the investors’ rights.

According to him, there is carried out improvement of the tax and customs policy – norms of 2 draft laws will facilitate that. 5 Governmental draft laws concern the national defense and security and also ratification of the international agreements. The norms of 4 draft laws are directed to settlement of issues in the area of intellectual property and dissemination of information. 3 draft laws are directed to solving of environmental protection and land use issues. Besides, the draft Law on innovation activity is under the Government’s control.

Moreover, Serhiy Arbuzov put forward a proposal to include into the agenda 3 draft laws in healthcare.
