Mykola Azarov forecasts stable gas prices throughout the year

The gas price that Ukraine bay in the Russian Federation will be stable for the our country throughout the country, This was started by Prime Minister during communication with  users of Facebook.

“My forecast concerning gas price for 2014: the gas price would be stable for us!” the Head of the Government said.   

He recalled, that the gas price for the industry will be reduced gradually, once a quarter and you get this price at the end of the year: "This phasing related primarily to the fact that in 2013 we bought a very expensive gas, which is then pumped into storage to survive the winter. Now this expensive gas will be mixed with cheap and, to the extent of its implementation, the price will decrease," Mykola Azarov explained.

He also said that currently rates are recalculated associated with changes in the cost of gas, which is a part of the tariff for heat, hot water, etc.

"Where such rates are determined independently - usually these are smaller cities and settlements  - appropriate guidance to local authorities are given to reduce the price has come down to a particular user," the Prime Minister said.
