In November of last year, Ukraine has submitted a declaration to the International Olympic Committee and begins first in its history Olympic campaign to qualify for the Olympic Winter Games in 2022 in Lviv. One of the components of this process is the selection of the logo of the application of the host city.

"Perhaps it would be wrong if the logo is chosen in offices. So, we want to make the choice the most public. I invite you to take part in the online voting for the official logo of the application of the city for the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games 2022-year. One of the four concepts will be chosen with your help," vice Prime Minister, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the preparation of application for the Winter Olympics Olexandr Vilkul wrote on his Facebook page.

Voting will last until January 26, 2014 on website www.lviv2022.in.ua. You can not only make your choice, but to find out what inspired its creators, and see how you can use this graphical symbol. Move the cursor on the appropriate option to do this.

"Your choice will determine the winning logo that Ukraine will officially present to the public. The whole world will see it! Vote and invite your friends to vote!"- Olexandr Vilkul said.

Selected logo will be presented at the International Olympic Committee. In the selection process of cities to host the Olympics the logo will tell the world about Ukraine, Lviv and Carpathians with genuine Ukrainian soul and unique winter resorts.

Versions of the logo of the Lviv’s application to host Olympics have been developed by internationally known American North design.

"The way to victory is not easy. Sweden applies for the seventh time. Korean Ponchanh, which host Olympics of 2018 won from the third attempt. Therefore, even the participation of Ukraine in the competition - it's a victory," Olexandr Vilkul said.

He noted that the maximum aim is to achieve Lviv’s victory over its competitors and hold 2022 Winter Games in Ukraine.
