Mykola Azarov: We will ensure stability of prices, currency and tariffs

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov believes that the Government will be capable to ensure stability of prices, currency and tariffs in the current 2014. He declared on his Facebook page.

“We will be capable of ensuring stability in price plane, currency and tariff area,” Mykola Azarov stated.

He added after the New Year and Christmas holidays the Government had snapped into the active work – the day before the first session in this year had taken place and concerned outcomes of the previous year and prospects for 2014.

“The mood is optimistic. External markets give good signals, there is certain reactivation on foreign markets. Despite the abundance of holidays our industry started working not bad. We are already working with our Russian partners with regards to strengthening of our cooperation plans. In a word, there is every reason to consider that 2014 will be the year of dynamic economic development and, respectively, growth of incomes of our people,” Mykola Azarov stated.

According to him, it is crucial now to adopt the state budget fast and, respectively, the local budgets. Mykola Azarov noted that all budget work must be completed in January, as it would enable financing of development programs in normal mode.

“What kind of January we will have – many things depend on that and what kind of year we will have as well. Therefore, it is crucial now to pay less attention to the destructive actions and to make more effective constructive labour. I see it as the essential task of the Government and all executive local authorities,” the Head of the Government summed up.
