Government to determine measures to prevent illegal coal extraction

On
implementing of a commission of the President of Ukraine the Environment
Ministry has elaborated the Action Plan directed on cessation of illegal coal extraction, that is to be considered by the Government on
January 9. The Prime Minister Mykola Azarov announced in his opening statement
during the Government’s session held on January 9, 2014.

question is urgent as illegal mines don’t just cause significant harm to the
environment alone, but take away people’s lives as well,” Mykola Azarov
noted. |
