The first session of the Cabinet of Ministers in 2014 is to deal with considering a draft law that enables to restructure the debt accumulated from non-payment for keeping houses and adjacent territories, for communal services (water supply, gas and electric supplies, centralized heating, handling of household waste) as of January 1, 2013. The Prime Minister Mykola Azarov stated in his opening statement during the Government’s session on January 9, 2014.

“It is not charging off – it is an opportunity for the people, who on various reasons could not have paid off timely or are not capable to get rid of the debts, to conclude the contracts on gradual paying off these sums and make the payments calmly,” Mykola Azarov noted.
