“It is especially
pleasant that despite rather hard economic conditions we put in exploitation such
extremely significant objects. They are needed not only for the Olympic
sportsmen but for the children and youth,” Mykola Azarov emphasized. The
works on reconstruction of the pool that had commenced in 2007 were suspended
in 2009 in connection with the absence of financing. By that time
construction readiness of the object made up 16%. Targeting to complete the
works the Government allocated UAH 13 mln in 2011,
UAH 10 mln in 2012 and UAH 10 mln
in 2013. After reconstruction
the basin is a pool that enables to hold sport competitions and training of
Olympic, Paralympic sportsmen, to teach children
swimming. |
