1,480 units of machinery and more than 1,700 workers, including 7 heavy snow removal equipment of mobile units and 2 units of engineering and special equipment of the SES are struggling with the consequences of bad weather in Ukraine to ensure travel along the national roads.
The most difficult situation is in Odesa and Mykolayiv regions. Due to the accumulation of trucks on the roadway, snowplows cannot properly clear the road surface. Activities to provide traffic by roads of these two regions continue.
At the same time, for passenger transport the passage on highways is open along the following routes:
- M-15 Odesa-Reni, Odesa region;
- H-24 Blagoveshchenske-Mykolayiv, km. 42 + 476-110 + 140, Mykolayiv region;
- M-03 Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhansky, km. 126 + 700 - 395 + 064, Poltava region.
Restrictions on the traffic of cargo vehicles on public roads in Kyiv region and at the entrance to the capital have also been lifted.
The Emergency Response Headquarters on public roads is constantly monitoring the fight against the effects of the snowstorm and weather deterioration.
