The Government agreed to change the intended function of two state-owned land plots in the Rakhiv district of Zakarpattia region. From the category of forestry lands in reserve, they will be transferred to the status of lands of the nature reserve fund and will be handed over to the supervision of the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve for permanent use.
Today's decision is a step towards expanding the territory of the reserve and, accordingly, preserving the unique Ukrainian nature.
