Under the eVidnovlennia (eRestoration) programme, 10,000 Ukrainian families will receive financial assistance to rebuild their homes damaged by the hostilities. The total amount of payments is over UAH 836 million. The money can be spent on construction materials or repair services.
The largest number of applications for damaged property came from Kharkiv, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson and Donetsk regions.
As a reminder, since May, owners of homes damaged by russian aggression have been able to apply to Diia and receive up to UAH 200,000 to repair their apartment or house. The amount of payments is determined by a local government commission, and the funds can be spent on construction materials or services in stores or partner companies of the eVidnovlennia programme.
In addition, on 1 August, the second stage of the programme was launched, under which owners of destroyed property can receive compensation.
In total, Ukrainians have already submitted 38,000 applications to Diia for financial assistance to repair damaged housing. As well as 2,159 applications for compensation for destroyed housing.
The eVidnovlennia service was developed by the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development jointly with the Ministry of Digital Transformation with the support of the USAID / UK aid Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services / TAPAS Project and the World Bank.
