Starting today, Ukrainians can apply to receive UAH 1,000 from the state under the Winter ePidtrymka programme. This is one of the elements of the Winter Support package for Ukrainian families.
The Government assistance is available from December 2024 to February 2025. The funds can be spent on utilities or medical services, medicines, books, education, transport, insurance, charity, donations to the Armed Forces or the purchase of military bonds. No taxes will be charged on these funds.
Who is eligible to receive assistance?
All citizens of Ukraine residing in the country, including children. One of the parents can apply for a payment to for the children on one of the parents personal account.
How can I get the money?
Applications can be submitted via:
Mobile application Diia: from 1 December 2024.
Ukrposhta: from 4 December 2024 without submitting a separate application.
Partner banks: from 10 December 2024.
How to get support via Diia mobile app?
After the application is approved, the funds will be credited to the card selected in Diia within 10 days.
You can spend the funds until 31 December 2025 inclusive. Unspent funds will be returned to the state budget.
How to get support through Ukrposhta?
You can receive UAH 1,000 through Ukrposhta if you belong to the following categories:
You will be informed of the UAH 1000 accrual by Ukrposhta employees when you receive your pension or social assistance in December.
How can I get support through the bank?
Citizens without a taxpayer identification number due to religious beliefs, citizens aged 65+, as well as guardians or legal representatives of minors can apply for assistance through a branch of one of the partner banks.
