    Infrastructure stability

    Electricity

    • Over the past 24 hours, power supply to more than 46,000 consumers has been restored.

    • In particular, in Kyiv region - about 30,500, Donetsk – 7,500, Kharkiv – 2,500, in Sumy – 2,500, in Mykolaiv - more than 2,100, in Zaporizhia – 1,400 consumers.

    • As of April 3, more than 1,170 settlements in Ukraine remain without electricity, with a total of more than 860,000 consumers.

    • The State Agency on Exclusion Zone Management will try to restore the automated radiation monitoring system as soon as the Armed Forces of Ukraine complete the inspection and demining of the area and allow the relevant specialists to start working. At present, the radiation monitoring system of the zone is not operational. Until April 5, the curfew is on the territory of the Chornobyl NPP site and nearby. The Armed Forces are working.

    Gas

    • More than 334,000 consumers remain without gas supply.

    • Consumers of Gas Supply Company Naftogaz Trading reduced the use of natural gas by 15% to 37 million cubic meters per day due to increased air temperature. Demand from heat producers and distribution companies for the needs of the population continues to decline the most.

    • Within the balancing group, which includes 58 sales companies, in March, according to preliminary data, there was a slight negative imbalance of the balancing group for the month. Due to the proper balancing of Naftogaz Trading's commercial portfolio, the group's imbalance was reduced from 120 million cubic meters positive to 1.3 million negative. Thus, it was possible to preserve the resource of Ukrainian gas for the needs of the population.

    • Ukraine plans to increase its domestic gas production after winning the war against russia. This will allow to significantly replace today's imports of natural gas, says Minister of Energy German Galushchenko.

On the night of April 1-2, the russian occupiers launched a missile strike on the Kremenchuk Oil Refinery. It is the largest and only operating oil refinery in Ukraine. Currently, the refinery has been shut down, its infrastructure and nearby fuel and lubricants depots destroyed.
