The Winter ePidtrymka programme was initiated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and is designed to provide social support to citizens during the difficult winter period.

A one-time state aid of UAH 1,000 will be provided to all Ukrainians, including children, who stay on the territory of Ukraine (except for the temporarily occupied territories).

The programme was launched on 1 December with the possibility to apply through the Diia app. Starting from 4 December, assistance will also be available through Ukrposhta, and from 10 December - through partner bank branches.

How can the funds received under the programme be used?

The UAH 1,000 can be spent on utilities, medical, educational, transport or insurance services, medicines, books or mobile phone payments.

These funds can also become part of the national donation to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Citizens can donate to one of the many charities that support the Ukrainian army.
