In September, agrarians received 25% compensation for Ukrainian-made agricultural machinery and equipment purchased in August for a total of UAH 98.5 million. This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko.

“For the past five months, farmers have been actively using the state support, which refunds 25% of the cost of agricultural machinery purchased from Ukrainian producers. During the program's time in effect, the Government has already accrued UAH 251.1 million in compensation for more than 1.5 thousand units of purchased agricultural machinery. The state support ensures demand for Ukrainian agricultural machinery, thereby stimulating the development of Ukrainian machine building, increasing the number of producers of machinery and other value-added goods,” said Yuliia Svyrydenko.

Almost 1.1 thousand farmers took part in the program and purchased machinery worth a total of UAH 1.2 billion. Also, 126 Ukrainian agricultural machinery companies offer their products. Currently, more than 11.3 thousand units of machinery are eligible for compensation.

Over the past five months, farmers have received the following amounts:

In April - UAH 220 thousand;

in May - UAH 18.6 million;

in June - UAH 72.2 million;

in July - UAH 61.6 million;

in August - UAH 98.5 million.

The largest number of applications for compensation for purchased agricultural machinery and equipment were submitted in the following regions: Poltava - 111, Odesa - 106, Kirovohrad - 103, Mykolaiv - 98, Vinnytsia - 79, Cherkasy - 76.

To take advantage of the state support program and receive 25% compensation for the cost of purchased machinery or equipment, an agricultural producer must choose a supplier from the List on the website of the Ministry of Economy, purchase the necessary equipment and submit an application and the necessary documents to an authorized bank. The list is constantly updated.

Producers wishing to include their equipment in the List can contact the Ministry of Economy via the official e-mail - meconomy@me.gov.ua. The application must be submitted in electronic form using an electronic signature or other means of identification that allow to establish the identity of the manager or authorized person.

The list of machinery and equipment is regularly updated after verification of the localization of production. The compliance of manufacturers is determined in accordance with the criteria specified in Resolution No. 130 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated March 1, 2017 (as amended).
