The Export Credit Agency of Ukraine supported exports worth UAH 5.7 billion in three quarters of 2024. This was announced by Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
“As part of the Made in Ukraine economic policy, we are strengthening support for Ukrainian producers. In the first nine months of 2024, the Export Credit Agency assisted our exports by UAH 5.7 billion. This is almost UAH 2.6 billion, or 1.8 times more than in the same period last year. It is important that producers from various industries, from food processing and mechanical engineering to woodworking and light industry, are actively using ECA insurance instruments. This support enhances Ukraine's export potential,” said Yuliia Svyrydenko.
In total, this year ECA has provided support to businesses from 12 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv city. The leaders in terms of supported exports were:
Most Ukrainian exporters that benefited from the ECA's support shipped their products to Poland (UAH 1.5 billion), Azerbaijan (UAH 831.7 million), and the United Arab Emirates (UAH 822 million). The most popular export groups include milk and dairy products, wood and wood products, as well as agro-processed products.
