Made in Ukraine: KARPATY industrial park to be created in Zakarpattia region

A new industrial park KARPATY will be created on the territory of the Sadok tract in Chynadiyovo village, Mukachevo district, Zakarpattia region. The decision to include it in the Industrial Parks Register was made by the Government at a meeting on 11 March 2025.

"Zakarpattia continues to develop its investment potential. This is the twelfth industrial park in the region. The Made in Ukraine policy is making such a tool as industrial parks more and more attractive not only for Ukrainian but for foreign investors as well. This gives us confidence that in the coming years, we will see the development of the processing industry in Ukraine to the level of our closest neighbors - Poland and Turkey," said Vitalii Kindrativ, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine.

The KARPATY Industrial Park will operate on an area of 25.6479 hectares and will create approximately 1,300 jobs. The initiator of the park is Chynadiyivka village council.

The industrial park will specialise in the following industries:

  • wood processing and manufacturing of wood products;
  • paper and cardboard production, paper recycling, and production of packaging materials
  • furniture production;
  • processing of agricultural products;
  • food production;
  • production of construction materials, industrial production of construction and thermal insulation materials;
  • scientific and technical activities, activities of laboratories, including independent confirmation of the quality of raw materials and finished products;
  • other industries compatible with the above and for other purposes (depending on the relevance of locating a particular production on the territory of the hromada).

As a reminder, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has launched a chatbot, a handy tool for investors in industrial parks. It will help to quickly find a suitable industrial park for doing business, as well as provide useful recommendations for creating a new park.
