The competition commission for the selection of independent members of the Supervisory Board of the Energy Efficiency Fund has finished acceptance of applications. 56 applications have been received since the announcement of the competition on September 10. This was announced by Vice Prime Minister/Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko.
According to Hennadii Zubko, the overwhelming majority of candidates are male (46 applicants) and 10 applications were received from women. Age category from 30 to 56 years: up to 30 years - 2 candidates, 31-45 years - 38 candidates, 46-55 years - 13 candidates, over 55 years - 4 candidates.
Moreover, 16 foreign citizens, in particular from Canada, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, France, Czech Republic, Denmark, Poland, Great Britan also submitted applications for participation in the competitive selection. 40 applications were received from Ukraine.
The Vice Prime Minister wished candidates the successful passage of all stages of competitive selection and he stressed that soon winners will be able to join a powerful project - the Energy Efficiency Fund, and together with the European partners will be involved in the implementation of Ukraine's energy efficiency reform.
