Excellent work of air defense and timely technical measures helped to avoid serious damage to power system today: German Galushchenko

Ukrainian power engineers are working to restore continuous power supply. This was announced by Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko.

“Thanks to the excellent work of air defense and timely technical measures, today, December 31, 2022, we managed to avoid serious damage to the power system of Ukraine. Power engineers are working non-stop to restore power supply,” the Minister stressed.

German Galushchenko underlined, “These are the most difficult Christmas and New Year holidays in the history of independent Ukraine. The enemy is trying to break us by any means. However, regardless of aggressor’s plans, Ukrainian power engineers will do everything in their power to ensure that Ukrainians have light on New Year’s Eve. Let’s take care of each other! Glory to Ukraine!”
