In April, Ukraine already reached export volumes comparable to the pre-war months thanks to a new sea corridor, war risk insurance, investments in logistics and support for Ukrainian exports. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal made this statement during a Government meeting on 7 May.

Besides, thanks to business support programmes, a gradual economic recovery and improved business activity is observed, Denys Shmyhal noted.

“15,000 entrepreneurs have received grants under the eRobota programme. This is an extraordinary success, as these are mostly new businesses that have already created thousands of new jobs,” the Head of Government emphasized.

He added that more than 500 new veteran-owned businesses have been created through the eRobota programme. Grants under this component are available to both veterans and family members of combatants.

“In addition, the Government continues to issue grants for processing companies. We have already approved 636 grants worth UAH 3.3 billion,” Denys Shmyhal emphasized.

The Government continues the 5-7-9 Affordable Loans Programme. During the martial law period, entrepreneurs have received more than 53,000 such affordable loans totalling almost UAH 213 billion.

“We are increasing the network of industrial parks. We launched the updated Made in Ukraine programme and opened 8 regional offices. This is a platform for interaction with entrepreneurs, support for Ukrainian producers, and promotion of Ukrainian goods,” told the Prime Minister.

According to the Head of Government, all these drive our economy and our country.
