Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov together with Health Minister Zoriana Skaletska have agreed on a joint plan of priorities and actions for the development of eHealth. Representatives of the National Health Service of Ukraine, eHealth Association, interested NGOs, information systems developers and international technical assistance projects members engaged in the development of the single action plan.
“It is important to combine the efforts of authorities and private business, as well as international partners, to adopt effective decisions that will contribute to the development of e-medicine. We have a clear action plan to be completed in a timely manner. Responsible for each item were also designated, so there should be no delays and excuses”, said Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
The Action Plan envisages 14 steps, in particular, the approval of the concept of an electronic healthcare system, conducting an audit of existing information systems and registers in the sector, and the development of a plan for the introduction of standards for the storage and transfer of medical information.
"It is extremely important that we have a shared vision of how to advance and work in synergy to continue healthcare reform with eHealth as an important component", said Health Minister Zoriana Skaletska.
