Prozorro Market helped the state save UAH 2 billion in January

In the first month of 2025, public procuring entities purchased consumer goods worth UAH 16 billion through Prozorro Market. At the same time, they saved almost UAH 2 billion. For comparison, in the whole of the previous year UAH 4 billion was saved.

Currently, about 13,000 customers actively use Prozorro Market. The system offers a wide range of goods required by government agencies. These include food, office equipment, defence goods, school buses, electricity, etc. The part of the e-catalogue that covers consumer goods is administered by the state institution “Professional Procurement”.

“In January, we made the Prozorro Market e-catalogue even more convenient. It now has updated automated templates that allow uploading a draft contract. We are also preparing a solution that will allow for convenient comparison of prices for goods. The results of January demonstrate the effectiveness of the changes: savings on consumer goods, such as food and energy, amounted to UAH 1.7 billion, and customers saved about UAH 300 million on medicines,” said Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy.

Thanks to the active involvement of national business and high competition, Prozorro Market allows not only to save budget funds. The e-catalogue also makes public procurement much faster. Customers can purchase the necessary goods in just 9 days, as the system already has verified suppliers, ready-made tender documents and contract templates. In addition, Prozorro Market promotes the development of small and medium-sized businesses by creating transparent conditions for entrepreneurs to cooperate with the state.

Currently, more than 5,500 suppliers sell through the e-catalogue. Each of them undergoes a thorough check, confirming their integrity and relevant experience. This approach guarantees customers the quality of goods, transparency of procurement and reliability of contractors,: said Yevhen Yakubovsky, Director of Professional Procurement.

In total, in 2024, public procuring entities purchased consumer goods worth over UAH 41 billion through Prozorro Market. This is four times higher than in 2023.
