Under the coordination of the Ministry of Energy, a batch of humanitarian aid – power equipment provided by international partners – was delivered to Kharkiv region.
The aid includes 9 powerful generators and 715 portable petrol generators, as well as wires, disconnectors and other power equipment needed for the restoration work.
“russians are ruthlessly shelling Kharkiv region every day. The region’s energy infrastructure has suffered significant damage. We are grateful to our partners for the equipment that will help our power engineers to carry out restoration work and ensure power supply to critical infrastructure facilities,” said Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko.
A total of 922 generators have been delivered to Kharkiv power engineers since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The total weight of the delivered power equipment is over 622 tonnes.
