Payments of UAH 1,500 begin from 1 April under the targeted support programme for pensioners and vulnerable groups

Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, posted 01 April 2026 11:25

Starting today, 1 April, payments of UAH 1,500 are being launched under the targeted support programme for pensioners and vulnerable groups. The payment will be received by old-age pensioners, people with disabilities, low-income families, recipients of basic social assistance, internally displaced persons (IDPs) who receive social payments, large families, and single mothers. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.

If a person belongs to more than one eligible category, the payment will be made only once.

The funds will be paid once during April, either to bank accounts or via Ukrposhta. No additional applications or requests are required.

The programme is designed to support those who, due to their income levels, are affected by the rise in global fuel prices, which in turn impacts the cost of essential goods and services.
