Yulia Svyrydenko: Housing under the eOselia program for military personnel will become more accessible
The Government has decided that mobilized military personnel will also be eligible for mortgages at 3% under the eOselia program. A mortgage under the program can be obtained through the Diia app. This was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
"The Government's decision will allow mobilized military personnel to obtain mortgages at 3% instead of 7%. In this way, we are creating equal opportunities for both mobilized personnel and those serving under contract," the Prime Minister emphasized.
The Cabinet of Ministers is setting clear limits on housing size to ensure that the program remains socially oriented: up to 115.5 m² for apartments and up to 125.5 m² for private houses.
Yulia Svyrydenko reported that 21,864 Ukrainian families had already received their own homes thanks to preferential mortgages. In total, they received loans worth UAH 37.4 billion. In particular, 6,438 military personnel and veterans were able to purchase housing thanks to the program.
“Over the years of running the program, we have seen that despite the war, Ukrainians want and are ready to buy their own homes in Ukraine. We are constantly updating the terms of the program to reflect the realities of the time,” said the Head of Government.
