Yulia Svyrydenko: Defenders released from russian captivity will get UAH 50,000 per month
Defenders released from russian captivity shall receive monthly payments of UAH 50,000. This was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
“The President has signed the relevant law - thank you for your support. I am grateful to the MPs for adopting this important decision for our military,” said the Head of Government.
Support will be provided during the first three months of rehabilitation.
Previously, only those who suffered injuries, concussions, or disabilities received such payments. However, many soldiers also suffer from serious illnesses requiring long-term treatment after captivity.
“Now the State guarantees assistance to everyone who has been held captive. This is an important step towards comprehensive support for our defenders,” Yulia Svyrydenko emphasized.
