Yulia Svyrydenko: Lifts and hot water will remain available in more than 2,000 apartment buildings even during power outages

Through the SvitloDIM programme, co-owners of apartment buildings can continue to receive state grants of UAH 100,000–300,000 to purchase equipment that ensures uninterrupted lighting, water and heat supply, communications, lift operation and security systems during prolonged power outages, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko announced.
“We expect to reach 3,600 buildings by the end of the year. We are working to attract additional funding and expand the programme,” she said.
