Yulia Svyrydenko: In Gdańsk, we finalized the establishment of the Ukraine Transport Support Fund

We finalized the establishment of the Ukraine Transport Support Fund. One of its key objectives is to help restore Ukraine’s transport infrastructure and accelerate our integration into the EU transport network. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko announced.

A joint declaration on practical support and the first contributions to the Fund was ined on the sidelines of the URC-2026 by the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, the Ministry of Climate of Estonia, and the Ministry of Rural Affairs and Infrastructure of Sweden.

“Our partners have announced their initial contributions: Lithuania, Sweden, and Norway will each provide around EUR 1 million, while Estonia will contribute EUR 100,000. The funding will support pilot projects identified by Ukraine,” told Yulia Svyrydenko.

According to her, the Fund will finance the repair and maintenance of transport infrastructure, the procurement of specialized equipment, the development of road, rail, port, airport, and border infrastructure, as well as the strengthening of Ukraine’s export corridors.

The Head of Government noted Ukraine would set the priorities and coordinate project implementation, while Lithuania’s Central Project Management Agency (CPVA) would administer the Fund, overseeing procurement, project delivery, and the transparent use of resources.
