Yulia Svyrydenko: A comprehensive overhaul of the supervisory boards of state-owned energy companies is underway

On May 13, upon the recommendation of the Nomination Committee, the Government approved the nominees of state representatives to the supervisory boards of two strategically important enterprises: Yuriy Boyko, Mykola Brusenko, and Yegor Perelygin to NPC Ukrenergo, and Anton Bendyk to LLC Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine. Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced.

According to her, additionally, due to the expiration of the terms of office for most members of the supervisory board of PJSC Ukrhydroenergo, the Government is launching a new competition for the relevant positions. “We have commissioned the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture and state-owned companies to conduct the relevant selection process as soon as possible,” the Prime Minister emphasized.

It should be noted that the process of renewing the composition of supervisory boards has been ongoing since November 2025.

The Cabinet of Ministers is preparing further decisions regarding competitive selection processes for other energy companies.
