Department of Information and Public Communications of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, posted 23 October 2025 14:56

The Government has allocated an additional UAH 2.5 billion for housing certificates under the eVidnovlennia program, as was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

“More than 1,600 families whose homes were destroyed as a result of russia's armed aggression will have the opportunity to purchase new housing,” said the Head of Government.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine explained how this works in practice, using the real-life story of Valentyna Troian from Donetsk region, whom she had recently met in Poltava.

"Valentyna's house in Donetsk region was ruined by the russians. She saw a video of the wreckage of her house on Telegram channels. She submitted documents to the CASP, a remote survey using a drone was conducted, and the commission approved compensation. Five days later, she received UAH 3.6 million," said Yulia Svyrydenko, emphasizing that the amount for each family is calculated individually.

More than 143,000 families have already benefited from the program. The state has paid out more than UAH 50 billion.

Applications can be submitted via Diia, at the Center for the Administrative Services Provision (CASP), or at a notary.

Now, a single general photo is sufficient to confirm damage, and geolocation can have an error margin of up to 10 m. It is also permitted to use satellite images and data from the Defense Forces as confirmation for locations that cannot be reached by the commission.
