The Government promotes youth development, in particular, it supports creative ideas, provides grants, and increases scholarships for gifted students.

On August 12, that marks the Youth Day, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko attended a youth forum.

"Today at the youth forum I heard dozens of fresh ideas. About housing policy, entrepreneurship,“ said Yulia Svyrydenko. ”Many of them are in the activities sector. For example, we will present grants for creative industries very soon. We also plan to increase grants for young people under the Vlasna Sprava program from UAH 150,000 to UAH 200,000."

The Prime Minister also said that starting from September 1, the Government had raised the amount of presidential scholarships for students of vocational schools to UAH 6,320; for students of colleges and technical schools - UAH 7,600; for university students - UAH 10,000; and for postgraduate students - UAH 23,700.

Students who pass the NMT with 185+ points will receive a Presidential scholarship of UAH 10,000 per year. The number of such scholarships has been increased to 400.

"We received an order from the President to upgrade scholarships for all students next year. This is a decision that is long overdue," said the Head of Government.

Yulia Svyrydenko congratulated the participants on the Youth Day, noting that young people are already bringing about changes.
