Yulia Svyrydenko holds conversation with EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos

On a historic day for Ukraine’s European integration path, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko held a conversation with Marta Kos.

Today, the opening of Cluster 1, Fundamentals, is expected, confirming that Ukraine is consistently delivering on its commitments and moving steadily towards membership of the European Union.

Yulia Svyrydenko thanked Marta Kos for her unwavering support in bringing Ukraine closer to this goal.

“We discussed the next joint steps for the Government and Parliament of Ukraine in fulfilling our commitments within the EU accession process. Our goal is to open the remaining clusters by mid-July under Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union,” the Prime Minister said.

According to Yulia Svyrydenko, the parties also condemned the latest missile strike by the russian aggressor, which cannot come to terms with the fact that Ukraine’s path to the EU is an irreversible choice of the Ukrainian people.
